The use of your vehicle will be required to follow us into the national park where we will be fishing and for the entirety of the trip.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park now requires a parking pass. A one-day pass is $5 and a one-week pass is $15, available online at www.recreation.gov. You may also purchase parking passes, including the $40 yearly pass in person at the national park visitor centers. Please have your parking pass displayed in your vehicle.
GSMNP allows you to fish with either a regular TN or NC fishing license, anywhere in the park, no trout stamp is required. You can purchase a license at www.gooutdoorstn.com or www.ncwildlife.gov
Please screenshot, or print your license once purchased to provide it at the beginning of the trip and carry it with you for the entirety of the trip.
A $60 per rod fee may be applied for any broken fly rods, if broken by negligence. You will be shown very politely how to not cause breakage. Any breakage that occurs by accident, like falling down, or while catching a fish, will not be charged at our discretion.
All trips include snacks and drinks and our longer trips include a shore lunch. Snacks are generally trail mix, nuts, crackers, fruit. Drinks means bottled water or flavored bottled water. Lunch usually consists of simple meat and cheese sandwiches, fruit, condiment packets, anything we can fit in our backpacks. If you have any dietary needs, allergies, preferences, please let us know. We will try to accommodate you, or feel free to bring anything you like. Drinks, snacks, lunches aren't charged for items, it's just something we provide because we all get hungry and thirsty.
While not required, it is customary to take care of your guide if they took care of you.
